Hear You Loud & Queer

Hear You Loud and Queer was created by Portland comedians Jamie Carbone and Ally J. Ward to highlight queer identified performance artists in the Pacific Northwest. To be heard loud and queer is to be unabashedly proud and unafraid to bear one's soul despite society's pressures and expectations. We want to feature queer content by queer people, and demand the world see and appreciate it.

Hear You Loud and Queer has a monthly open mic (First Thursday's at 7pm) and comedy showcase (Third Thursdays at 7pm) at Schilling Cider House in Portland, Oregon. It also runs a quarterly show at Lustre Pearl in Portland, Oregon. The showcase has travelled to Salem, Oregon and has plans to travel to Seattle and beyond.
