Ally J. Ward
Trans Comedian, Improviser, and Storyteller out of Portland, Oregon
Fat, quirky, kinky, and charismatic, Ally J Ward is a trans woman residing in Portland, Oregon. A self-identified dumb baby and good girl, Ally is a standup comedian, improviser, and storyteller who unabashedly loves professional wrestling, is endlessly rewatching the Adventures of Pete and Pete, and is furious Taco Bell no longer offers the Double Decker Taco on its menu.
Ally hosts and produces the Portland comedy shows Hear You Loud and Queer which highlights the Northwest's best queer comedians, as well as the standup comedy wrestling show Punchlines and Piledrivers. She is also part of the cast of Giggle Bottom, a kink comedy education show.
As an improviser, Ally performs on the Gauntlet every other Sunday at Curious Comedy Theater. Also at Curious Comedy, she is the co-founder and host of Portland's Annual Comedy Pageant competition. As a storyteller, Ally has won a Moth StorySlam and Performed on the Moth GrandSlam.
In the Summer of 2024, Ally was named as one of the "Hottest Queer Comedians of Today" by Out Magazine as part of their Big Happy Comedy Tour.
